In recent days we’ve witnessed in the local and national news how our children, brothers, fathers, and friends have fallen prey to the bullets and blows of the migra and police, and even our sisters have been subject to fierce beatings. In every case, law enforcement officials are exonerated and protected by their badges and uniforms. Our communities are forced to pay the salaries of the very same people who mistreat and control us.

Rejecting this humiliation, we’ve decided to go into the streets to inform the community of our rights, and find those who are willing to help build a collective form of resistance. In other words, we believe that only the community can defend the community, and only the PEOPLE will defend itself from injustice and abuse. Continue reading →
