El Tribunal Superior de Ventura ha obligado al Departamento de Policía de Oxnard para entregar casi una hora de vídeo grabado el 13 de octubre 2013 durante la Marcha por la Justicia contra la Brutalidad Policial. Anteriormente, sólo 4 minutos de material se habían publicado como “evidencia” de que Francisco Romero, miembro del Colectivo Todo Poder al Pueblo, violó leyes de tránsito puso “en peligro la seguridad pública” al tomar las calles en una protesta dirigida por cientos de personas de la comunidad. A victory in our fight to defend the people’s right to protest! The Ventura Superior Court has compelled the Oxnard Police Department to hand over nearly an hour of footage from the October 13, 2013 March for Justice Against Police Brutality. They had only previously released 4 minutes of footage as ‘proof’ that Colectivo Todo Poder al Pueblo member Francisco Romero was breaking traffic laws and “endangering public safety” by taking the streets in our community-led protest of hundreds.
