A victory in our fight to defend the people’s right to protest! The Ventura Superior Court has compelled the Oxnard Police Department to hand over nearly an hour of footage from the October 13, 2013 March for Justice Against Police Brutality. They had only previously released 4 minutes of footage as ‘proof’ that Colectivo Todo Poder al Pueblo member Francisco Romero was breaking traffic laws and “endangering public safety” by taking the streets in our community-led protest of hundreds. The fight continues – – power to the people! Thank you to the Law Offices of Jaime Segall-Gutierrez!
